An Open Conversation on Suicide with Iranjali and Jomo

The 10th of October marks World Mental Health Day, a day for global mental health education, awareness and advocacy against social stigma. As such, Pulse continues its conversation on suicide with Iranjali Unamboowe Abeyratne and Jomo from Sumithrayo in hopes of shifting perspectives, building awareness and creating a safe and empathetic community.

We discuss everything from who’s more likely to take his or her life, how to address the matter, the role authorities must consider in taking the message to rural communities and how to be there for one another.
